Videos of the Boys Upstate Eight Conference Meet have been posted
Since DyestatIL is now charging a membership fee to view all of their videos, I decided to create my own. I tried to capture EVERY Geneva runner from the 2016 Upstate Eight Boys Conference meet. Unfortunately, my battery started to fail towards the end and I had to skip a few races. Please enjoy what I was able to capture!

(I’m sorry Ladies, I was planning to do the same for the Girls Sectional Meet, but due to unexpected issues, I was not able to attend)
The Girls are SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS!
As if becoming Kane County and Upstate Eight Conference Champs wasn’t enough, now the Girls are
IHSA Class 3A Sectional Champions!!
The following girls are going to State:
- Kristin Higgins – High Jump
- Shannon Callahan – High Jump
- McKenzie Altmayer – 3200m, 1600m
- Emma Ehrhardt – 3200m
- Ndidi Ukaobasi, 100m, 200m
- Georgia Reed – 300m Hurdles
Volunteers needed for the Swedish Days 5k race this summer
Hey all, it’s Krista (Jordan, Sydney & David’s mom) Andersen,
I work at the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. If any of you or your kids are looking to earn GIVE hours (and after going through scholarship applications this year we realized how much these people look for that!) I have something the whole family can get involved in.
We are offering a 5k during Swedish Days this summer on Saturday morning (partnering with Geneva Running Outfitters), June 25th and I need lots of help at the race that morning. You would be placed along the race route for various jobs like handing waters out etc.
It’s 6:30am-9:30am and I will give each a volunteer t-shirt. I would just need the attached waiver filled out and sent back to me.
Let me know as soon as possible if you or any family member 13years+ is interested.
