Outlook – The Vikings have gotten stronger at the end of the season putting them in position to contend for a trophy. Part of that is due to the return of Emma Ehrhardt who missed most of the season due to an injury. She has stepped up as the #2 runner in the last three meets. McKenzie Altmayer has been the #1 runner all of season. She should be in the top ten in this race. The split on their two through five pack the last week has been 25, 30, and then 60 seconds last week. The Vikings could be in the top five if that split is near 30 seconds. If the split is similar to last week’s, then they could finish outside the top ten.
